Images for the Archives Month Poster
The SOA Archives Month theme for October 2012 is "The Peoples of Ohio." The SOA Archives Month Committee is looking for images that represent the ethnic cultural, economic, social, and religious diversity of Ohioans. If your organization has an image (or two or three)--in digital form--that are good candidates for the poster, please submit a low resolution file by Friday, June 2, 2012 to Jillian Carney. If your image is selected for the poster we will request a high resolution .tiff file.
SOA Annual Conference
SOA's Annual Conference will be held on May 18, 2012 at the Lakeside Conference Center at OCLC in Dublin, Ohio. Pre-registration is now closed. For more information and to view the conference schedule, visit the Annual Conference page.

National History Day
The Society of American Archivists is introducing a new online toolkit of resources for National History Day. The toolkit was developed for archivists, librarians, teachers and students. Mission
Founded in 1968, the Society of Ohio Archivists' mission is to exchange information, coordinate activities, and improve professional competence in Ohio's archives and manuscript repositories. Membership in the society is open to the public, and we invite anyone with an interest in archives and manuscripts to join.
