"An incalculable number of pieces of Ohio pottery have been rescued from attics, cellars, barns, and other hideaways and have taken their rightful places in museums and private collections."
-- John S. Stills
"Ohio Ceramics," Echoes, July 1958
PLEASE NOTE: On March 7, 2003, the property and all site administration and management responsibilities for the Ohio Ceramic Center were transferred from the Ohio Historical Society to Hocking College in Nelsonville, Ohio. Hocking College will continue working with the Ceramic Pottery Museum Association (CPMA) of Crooksville to operate the museum. The CPMA operated the museum as a partner with the Society and was the driving force in the establishment of the museum in 1971.
