Unit Name: 19th Ohio Volunteer Infantry
Muster In: May 29 1861 Columbus Ohio 
Muster Out: October 24 1865 San Antonio Texas
Unit History:
Initially mustered in for 3 months, then agreed to serve 3 years. Re-enlisted in January 1864. Company A was recruited from Canton, Stark County; Company B from Youngstown, Mahoning County; Company C from Warren, Trumbull County; Companies D and I from Ashtabula, Ashtabula County; Companies E and H from New Lisbon, Columbiana County; Company F from Geauga County and Companies G and K from Akron, Summit County.
