37th Infantry Division in formation during World War II. From Archives/Library Collection P 295. |
The Ohio Historical Society is looking for a few brave Ohio veterans to donate their letters,
photographs, diaries, journals and memorabilia from their service during World War II. We
would like to provide a permanent home for your records of World War II and share your
memories with future generations of Ohio. We are also interested in letters from Ohio
family members to soldiers serving overseas and diaries or journals that describe the
experiences of Ohians at home during the war. Material from our collections is frequently
used in educational programs for Ohio youth and may be used in research, exhibits and scholarly
publications.
The Ohio Historical Society needs your donations to preserve a lasting heritage for present
and future Ohioans. Please contact Connie Conner at cconner@ohiohistory.org
or 614-297-2573 if you or a member of your family would like to donate personal material related to WWII.
