Mark the birthday of Ohio Civil War hero and 19th U.S. President Rutherford B. Hayes by experiencing life during the Civil War. More than 700 reenactors camp on the grounds of the Hayes estate. Soldiers conduct military drills, chat with visitors and re-create the Battle of Opequon Creek. Sunday features a formal, military graveside service with representatives sent by President George W. Native American Technology: Food Preservation & Harvest

Boy Scout Pilgrimage and Army Wreath Laying at the Harding Memorial

Commemorate the birth of President Harding with the annual Scout Pilgrimage to the presidential tomb. More than 500 scouts gather each year to pay homage to the president and first lady for their support of scouting. This event also includes the U.S. Army's annual Wreath-laying Ceremony on behalf of the White House. Featured speakers will include scouts and an Army brigadier general who will represent the president of the United States. Parade begins half an hour before event. Boo in the Bog

Boo in the Bog consists of a guided night hike through Cedar Bog with stations set up along the boardwalk for discovery opportunities about the nocturnal animals of the area - with a little (non-scary) "boo" factor thrown in for fun! Section 106 Review Project Summary Form Training Class

When project submissions are accurate and complete, the Section 106 review process is faster and more productive for everyone involved. This training class provides guidance on using the Project Summary Form, an interactive checklist now required for most new project submissions. The form is designed to help agency officials and applicants organize new submissions and streamline reviews by the Ohio Historic Preservation Office. Projects submitted under pre-existing agreements with the office will be exempt from this requirement, as will wireless communications projects submitted on behalf of the FCC. Registration is $25.
